When I started 16 years ago as an intern at a large wholefoods importer and distributor, I would have probably betted against me one day discovering and developing a passion for the international trading of organically grown raw materials. Looking back today, I would have definitely lost this bet.

After completion of my internship, I continued to work in that company parallel to school and started my commercial formation of wholesale and foreign business. In 1997 I successfully completed this education in the purchasing unit.

Although it was part of my training to work in all sorts of different departments, I quickly determined that purchasing was what I liked best. Indeed, working directly with people from different cultures and backgrounds does to this day not only fascinate and thrill me, but also does provide a lot of fun for me every single day. After 13.5 years of working for the same company I left as head of the purchasing unit and was ready to engage in new exciting endeavours.

This was the moment of birth for the Delphi Organic GmbH, I co-founded with my partners in 2004.

At Delphi Organic I am focussing on the worldwide sourcing and sale of high-quality, organic raw materials at fair prices for suppliers and customers alike.

Furthermore, I am responsible for the complete certification and customs procedures. Being one of the interfaces between our logistics and customs partners I am constantly confronted with exciting challenges that need to be met. I am looking forward to share a common path with you in the future!
