Foods have always been the focus of my professional life.
My roots are in the restaurant business and as a trained cook
I started my work life. After a prolonged stay abroad I obtained
a further degree at a hotel management school and afterwards
studied nutritional science.
During this time the wholefoods sector and the area of quality
assurance developed rapidly with new instruments, measures
and regulations. Both topics were in the focus of my studies
and coined my quality awareness.
After successfully graduating from university with a diploma
in nutritional science and domestic economics (Dipl. Oec.troph.)
I started to work as a quality manager at a leading catering
company. Part of my job was to make sure all processes were
carried through according to HAACP and ISO norms. I soon learned
that it is not always easy to implement theoretical regulations
into practice. In contrast, it is always a challenge to do
so and to adapt the regulations in a vivid way that takes
the individual process into consideration.
After taking a baby break for a couple of years, I have come
back to this professional field and am now working for Delphi
Organic in the quality assurance. I am happy to be able to
employ my experiences and knowledge and to do my part in helping
Delphi Organic to further grow.
