Quality Assurance – Quality Management
Sustainably securing the high quality of our certified organic
raw materials is the top priority for Delphi Organic.
All steps and measures of the quality management process
are a fundamental part of our awareness and thinking. Beginning
with carefully selecting and evaluating our raw material suppliers,
maintaining a close contact with them and then finally testing
the quality of all products once they arrive at our logistics
partner’s warehouse.
Consequently we have relocated the quality assurance department
to our warehouse in Hamburg, so the quality of incoming products
can be immediately checked. This department focuses on the
following issues:
• Incoming goods inspection
• Sample taking according to DIN/ISO norm
• Retention of samples
• Organoleptic testing of goods
• Thorough documentation of all conducted tests
• Daily inspection of the inventory
• Continous improvement of all operations
In order to achieve as few customer complaints and as high
a customer satisfaction as possible, we implemented and are
living our HACCP concept. This helps us to identify and to
circumnavigate all critical hazards to our product quality
and at the same time adjust our quality assurance systems
to new and changing developments.
Based on a fixed plan of analyses we constantly test our
products for possible residues of pesticides, heavy metals,
solvents or other harmful substances. In close collaboration
with two certified + accredited laboratories we can ensure
that all of our products as well meet the Council Regulation
(EEC) No. 2092/91 on organic food as offer the highest possible
product security.
