Our projects in China:

Within the last 15 years China has emerged as one of the most important exporting countries for certified organic products. Many consumers ask themselves how a certified organic production can be possible in a country where – for outsiders – so many questions remain. But China has many faces. Organic food supplies have played an important role in the last years in conjunction with the overall Chinese environmental policy.

In spite of China being one of the most important CO2-emitting countries, parts of the Chinese population are more and more aware of “organic nutrition”, leading import to the massive increase in the area under organic cultivation. We have been working in China for more than 10 years. Despite some set backs these years have naturally also included, we have successfully established precisely defined suppliers and projects in China. In order to be able to guarantee the necessary product safety, we visit our projects very regularly and have audits been conducted as well.

In our appreciation the very positive (interpersonal) relationships with our Chinese partners are the corner stone of successful collaborations in China.

Hence we are proud of our excellent quality of products from China, stemming from, e.g.:

- Jilin Province
- Heilongjilang Province
- Gansu Province
- Yunnan Province
- Liaoning Province

Furthermore we organized a recertification by Naturland for some of the products. Periodic analyses in China and especially through accredited German laboratories ensure the required compliance with safety parameters.
